Job summary

Great Eastern seeks an Actuarial professional to join the risk management and compliance team in Singapore. You will help drive and implement requirements for Regional Agency/ FA & Bancassurance and support representatives to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

The role involves reviewing marketing and recruitment materials, training Financial Representatives, and ensuring approvals of agency branding and collateral while maintaining up-to-date awareness of regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of the insurance sector is an added advantage.
• Self-starter and proactive; strong integrity and teamwork.
• Proficient in oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Review and update processes and guidelines in relation to public prospecting, marketing, recruitment materials.
• Communicate and reinforce guidelines to Financial Representatives.
• Share guidelines and issues via training materials, onsite visits and meetings.
• Review and approve Agency Identity Collaterals, Group Name/Logo, Website and Signage.
• Ensure Marketing Materials approval is adhered to within SOP.
• Review social media content for compliance; identify non-compliance issues.

You will be part of a team to drive and implement the risk management and compliance requirements for Regional Agency/ FA & Bancassurance and the representatives, by effectively supporting the business units in their duty to comply with relevant laws and regulations.

• Review and update processes and guidelines in relation to public prospecting and marketing / recruitment materials.
• Communicate and reinforce the awareness of the guidelines in relation to public prospecting and marketing / recruitment materials.
• Share relevant guidelines and issues with Financial Representatives through training materials, onsite visit, cluster meeting and other agency platforms.
• Review and approve Agency Identity Collaterals, Agency Group Name / Logo, Agency Group Website and Agency Group Signage.
• Ensure the Marketing and Recruitment Marketing Materials approval process is adhered within the SOP.
• Review social media content posted by the Financial Representatives to identify non-compliance with the guidelines.
• Explore tools and methods to streamline and enhance the monitoring mechanisms.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
