Job summary

ANGLE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Distillates / Fuel Oil Operator in Singapore to oversee end-to-end cargo operations from nominations to close-out.

The role requires hands-on experience in scheduling, nominations, and contract execution for diesel/gasoil, jet fuel and other refined products, with strong HSSE and regulatory awareness. You will coordinate with traders, terminals, shipowners and surveyors to ensure seamless cargo execution.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years’ experience in physical oil/trading operations.
• Hands-on experience in cargo operations, nominations, scheduling and contract execution.
• Knowledge of diesel/gasoil, jet fuel, VLSFO/HSFO or other refined products.
• Understanding of shipping, terminals, charterparty terms and laytime/demurrage.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management.

• Manage end-to-end physical distillates and fuel oil cargo operations, from nominations and scheduling through loading, discharge and close-out.
• Coordinate with traders, charterers, counterparties, terminals, shipowners, agents and surveyors to ensure smooth cargo execution.
• Monitor vessel movements, cargo schedules and operational risks, resolving delays and issues proactively.
• Handle cargo documentation, invoicing, reconciliation, laytime/demurrage and claims.
• Support inventory, storage and blending activities where applicable.
• Work closely with traders and chartering teams to optimise logistics and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure operations comply with HSSE, sanctions, regulatory and internal risk requirements.
