Job summary

NTI Nanofilm in Singapore seeks a Director - Market Segment for Semiconductor to lead the commercial strategy, identify market trends, and translate insights into profitable growth for the segment.

You will own marketing strategy, business development, product & application development, pricing, and cross-functional leadership, coordinating with R&D, operations, and regional sales to win key opportunities and deliver revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in the semiconductor/advanced materials industry.
• Strong commercial experience across BD, strategic marketing, product management, market development or KAM.
• Proven ability to turn market insights into opportunities and growth.
• Knowledge of semiconductor products, applications, customers, and market dynamics.
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles, strategic accounts, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, customer orientation, and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable working across countries, cultures, business functions and levels.
• Excellent English and Mandarin communication; Mandarin for Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute the sales & marketing strategy for the semiconductor market segment.
• Business Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities; develop key accounts.
• Market Intelligence: Understand market trends and customer needs; monitor competition.
• Product & Application Development: Collaborate with R&D to identify new opportunities and lead projects.
• Commercial management: Drive segment revenue growth; own pricing and product positioning.
• Cross functional leadership: Coordinate across functions to deliver initiatives and align priorities.
• Marketing & Positioning: Define value propositions, target customers, and support campaigns and events.
