Job summary

FINN Partners Singapore is seeking a Director, PR to lead our Integrated Communications team on a six-month maternity cover from December 2026 to May 2027. You will shape holistic B2B communications plans, strengthen client relationships, and coach a growing team.

The role involves overseeing accounts, guiding pitches, and delivering high-quality proposals and assets such as articles, press releases, briefings, videos and newsletters.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant PR/communications experience, agency background preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and account planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounts and projects, including planning, execution, reporting and budgeting.
• Serve as senior client counsel and resolve issues with the team.
• Lead strategic development of business pitches and high-quality proposals.
• Manage people leadership responsibilities with integrity.
• Guide development of communications assets such as articles, press releases, briefs, videos and newsletters.
• Promote cross-agency collaboration on client and culture projects.
• Provide mentorship to team members.

We're looking for a Director, PR to join our growing Integrated Communications team on a six-month maternity cover (from December 2026 - May 2027). If you are passionate about developing strategic and holistic B2B communications plans, identifying and driving new business, building strong relationships with existing clients, and coaching and nurturing a growing team, you might be the person we are looking for.

As part of your day-to-day job, you will:

• Oversee and lead all aspects of accounts and projects, including planning, execution, reporting and financial administration (billing and tracking) for the team
• Act as the senior counsel in client relationships, and manage and guide the team on issues resolution
• Take the strategic lead in developing business pitches, working with team members to deliver creative, high-quality proposals that are on-brief
• Execute people management responsibilities with integrity, objectivity and respect
• Oversee and contribute to the development of communications assets including articles, press releases, briefing documents, videos and newsletters
• Actively promote collaboration across the agency on client- and culture-related projects
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 10 years of relevant experience, agency experience preferred
• Possesses strong strategic thinking and account planning skills
• Enjoys driving new business development, with a flair for creative and strategic programme development
• Is confident and driven, with excellent people and team management skills
• Actively fosters and maintains a collaborative, cohesive and conducive work environment for the team
• Cares deeply about the work they do, and the people they work with
• Understands and manages administrative responsibilities effectively
• May fall short of one or two requirements, but is ready to challenge themselves and hit the ground running with us
