Job summary

Amyethyst Asia Partners in Singapore seeks a Director – Private Equity Fund Accounting to lead fund accounting teams servicing Private Equity and Private Credit clients. Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive fund administration experience, with strong exposure to Private Equity and/or Private Credit funds.
• Experience leading and managing fund accounting teams.
• In-depth understanding of private markets fund structures and accounting, including waterfall calculations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and Singapore GAAP; additional standards advantageous.
• Excellent client management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund accounting teams providing full fund administration services to Private Equity and Private Credit clients.
• Review and oversee NAV calculations, financial reporting and related fund deliverables.
• Oversee investor servicing activities including onboarding, capital calls, distributions and investor reporting.
• Interpret fund documentation and apply relevant terms to financial reporting, income and expense allocations and fund accounting activities.
• Review complex calculations including management fees, performance fees and waterfalls.
• Lead the onboarding of new clients and funds, including fund document review and system setup.
• Manage client relationships and act as a senior escalation point for complex issues and queries.
• Liaise with external service providers to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
• Ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and in accordance with agreed SLAs.
• Oversee work allocation, team utilisation, cross-training and resource coverage.
• Develop team capabilities and ensure appropriate resources are available to meet client and organisational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiency.
• Participate in broader client and company initiatives as required.
