Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
• 10+ years software engineering experience with 15+ years applied; 10+ years in trading systems.
• Expert-level C++ development (C++14/17/20) with ultra-low-latency systems.
• Proven track record building and scaling engineering teams.
• Experience with exchange connectivity including FIX protocol and binary exchange protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of ultra-low-latency trading systems in C++ for equity derivatives in APAC.
• Architect exchange connectivity solutions for Asian markets (FIX, native protocols).
• Build and scale the Singapore engineering team with hiring pipelines.
• Define technology roadmap for trading systems expansion and regional collaboration.
• Partner with global peers to deliver cross-region platform capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Translate trading requirements into technical solutions with traders and researchers.
• Champion firmwide frameworks and modern development methodologies.
