Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to head Security Operations and Incident Management in Singapore. The role focuses on monitoring, investigation and rapid response to incidents, with a mandate to coordinate technical teams and stakeholders through containment and recovery.

Key responsibilities include root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews and ongoing improvement of frameworks, playbooks, and escalation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing significant cybersecurity incidents end-to-end: investigation, containment, remediation, recovery, root-cause analysis.
• Leadership of SOC/Security Operations or Incident Response teams is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat detection and incident-response tech and frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with senior management during major incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Operations and Incident Management with monitoring, investigation, escalation and response to cybersecurity events.
• Act as senior escalation point for major and complex cyber incidents, coordinating technical teams and stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analyses and post-incident reviews to close gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of incident response frameworks, SOPs, playbooks and escalation processes.
• Oversee SOC capabilities across monitoring, detection, investigation and response.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Infrastructure, Cloud, Applications and Cybersecurity teams to strengthen detection and response.
