Job summary

Cheil Singapore, part of the Iris Singapore network, seeks a Strategic Planning Director to lead brand and communication strategies across local and regional markets. You will translate business challenges into actionable opportunities, uncover insights from consumer and market data, and shape strong brand positioning and messaging frameworks.

You will collaborate with creative, account, media, and digital teams, developing integrated strategies spanning ATL, digital, social, content and PR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising or related discipline preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, strategic planning or related field.
• Proven experience developing brand and communication strategies for established or emerging brands.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior and advertising ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of brand strategies and communication across local and regional markets.
• Translate business challenges into clear strategic problems and opportunities.
• Synthesize consumer, cultural, competitive and market intelligence for insights.
• Develop brand positioning, propositions, messaging frameworks and territories.
• Identify trends and behaviors to create opportunities for brands.
• Partner with creative, account, media and digital teams to translate strategy into campaigns.
• Develop integrated strategies across ATL, digital, social and experiential touchpoints.
• Provide strategic direction through creative development to stay aligned with brand insight.
• Lead thinking for new business pitches, launches and growth opportunities.
• Build persuasive narratives and presentations articulating problems, insights and strategy.
• Present strategic recommendations confidently to senior clients.
