Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Director, Multiomic Sciences at our Biopolis, Singapore facility.

This leader will drive a world-class molecular biomarker and multiomics group, integrating immunoassays, mass spectrometry, genomics, and AI-enabled analytics to transform biomarker discovery and drug development. The role requires a PhD or equivalent with 8+ years of industry experience, or a Master’s with 12+ years.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with extensive industry experience in drug discovery and development.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary scientific teams and capability building.
• Experience across Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Cardiometabolic diseases desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build the Multiomic Sciences group and set strategic direction.
• Oversee budget, workforce planning, and resource allocation for the group.
• Partner with site leaders to drive portfolio decisions and ensure compliance and data integrity.
