Charterhouse Partnership is seeking an experienced Director - Credit (Securitization/Structured Credit) in Singapore to lead independent risk assessments and underwriting for structured finance transactions. The role emphasises Securitisation, Auto Loan ABS, RMBS, and related non-recourse lending within APAC.

You will partner with Front Office and control functions to ensure efficient deal execution, strengthen risk controls, and uplift underwriting capabilities across the APAC credit team.

Qualificações

• Strong credits background with risk assessment and approval experience.
• Experience in Structured Credit/Asset-Backed Lending preferred.
• Analytical skills including financial modeling and cash flow analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Provide independent credit risk assessments and approvals for Structured Credit/ABL, including securitisation deals.
• Evaluate asset characteristics, build cash flow waterfall stress tests, and negotiate terms.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, monitor covenants and triggers, escalate risks.
• Collaborate with Front Office and control functions to drive deal execution and present clear materials.
• Improve APAC underwriting frameworks and share knowledge with the credit team.

A reputable and established international bank is urgently looking for a Director - Credit (Securitization/Structured Credit) in their Singapore office. The role is part of Asia Pacific Credit Department. No WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP IS PROVIDED!

• Credit review, credit underwriting and credit approval experience
• Structured Credit/Asset-Backed Lending transactions experience preferred
• Analytical, smart, financial modelling, cash flow analysis skill

Main responsibilities:-

• Provide independent credit risk assessments and approvals aligned with internal risk appetites. You will lead underwriting for Structured Credit and Asset-Backed Lending (ABL), focusing heavily on Securitisation (Auto Loan ABS, RMBS) while expanding into Fund Finance and non-recourse lending.
• Evaluate underlying asset characteristics, build cash flow waterfall stress tests, assess structural protections, and negotiate credit documentation terms.
• Conduct ongoing portfolio reviews, track strict transaction covenants/triggers, manage watchlist processes, and proactively escalates emerging risks.
• with the Front Office and control functions to drive efficient deal execution, presenting clear, decision-ready credit materials with well-supported recommendations.
• Drive the improvement of APAC underwriting frameworks and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives to upscale the capabilities of the wider credit team.

Main requirements : -

• Strong academic credentials from a recognised University
• Armed with deep technical expertise in Securitisation (Auto Loan ABS, RMBS), evaluating transactions through intense collateral review, cash flow waterfall modeling, and structural risk design.
• Proven track record of establishing an independent risk voice, successfully negotiating robust structural mitigants, tight financial covenants, and strategic triggers.
• Effectively managing relationships with Front Office originators and senior executives, delivering succinct and clear written credit papers and navigating complex risk discussions seamlessly.
• Broadly experienced across Structured Finance including Warehouse Finance, Fund/NAV Finance, and associated derivatives hedging risks (FX/Interest Rate, CSA, counterparty exposure).
• Adept at operating at the Director level, providing robust peer-to-peer challenge to transaction teams while designing agile underwriting frameworks for low-precedent, complex deals.
