Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is seeking an experienced technology leader to head the Core Banking and Data Platform function in Singapore. You will own end-to-end platform strategy, architecture, and delivery, driving modernisation, cloud adoption, and data-driven outcomes for critical banking services.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, partner with senior stakeholders, and oversee governance, risk, and regulatory compliance across platforms, ensuring resilience and scalable performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of technology leadership in banking or financial services.
• Deep expertise across Core Banking, Payments, Cards, Enterprise Platforms, and Data Platforms.
• Proven success leading large-scale platform transformation, cloud adoption and engineering excellence.
• Experience managing large technology organisations and mission-critical production environments.
• In-depth knowledge of governance, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management.
• Commercial acumen with budgeting, investments, vendors and partnerships.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management; able to influence executives and regulators.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute platform strategy for Core Banking, Payments, Cards and Data Platforms.
• Own architecture, engineering, delivery, operations and lifecycle management.
• Ensure resilience, security, scalability and performance of critical platforms.
• Lead cloud-native modernisation and data-driven transformation initiatives.
• Champion governance, risk, compliance and incident management across platforms.
• Partner with executives and groups to align technology with business strategy.
