Job summary

Coupang in Singapore is seeking an engineering leader to head our dynamic authorization efforts within the Identity, Access and Protection Infrastructure team. You will help secure services and customer interactions by shaping strategy and delivering scalable security platforms in a modern Zero Trust architecture.

You will hire and retain top engineers, drive roadmaps, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive execution across complex programs while mentoring the team to raise the bar on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 12+ years professional experience in software engineering teams, or 10+ years with advanced degree.
• 5+ years’ experience managing engineers.
• Experience leading design and development of large scale distributed systems.
• Recent experience with security, IAM or related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Hire and shape team culture by recruiting top engineers.
• Oversee platform strategy, roadmaps, and execution for broad adoption.
• Align stakeholders on strategic roadmaps and deliverables.
• Partner with teams across the company to identify business and technical opportunities.
• Drive execution through organizational complexities while delivering impact.
• Lead by example on high priority projects and deep-dives when necessary.
• Contribute to the Coupang engineering community through cross-company initiatives.
• Inspire teams to raise the bar on design, development and operational excellence.
