Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Manager to lead a high-performing team embedded across business functions. You will identify high-value AI opportunities, translate business needs into practical solutions, and deliver measurable impact through short sprint cycles.

You will partner with Domain Leaders, stakeholders, and platform teams to drive execution, remove blockers, and ensure adoption with clear business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in software engineering, solutions engineering, applied AI, or related technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience with reviewing designs, troubleshooting, prototyping, and guiding engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers embedded in business functions and map workflows.
• Define scalable FDE delivery methods, playbooks, and quality standards.
• Guide AI solution design using Microsoft AI platforms and related tools.
• Drive adoption with change resources and measure business impact.
• Communicate progress to executives and stakeholders.
