Job summary

MSD Singapore seeks a Director of Multiomic Sciences to lead a biomarker and multiomics team integrating immunoassays, mass spectrometry, genomics, flow cytometry, single-cell technologies, and AI-enabled analytics to advance drug discovery and development.

The role intersects molecular biology, translational medicine, and data science; you will shape strategy, build capabilities, and guide portfolio decisions across discovery and clinical development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Translational Medicine, Computational Biology, or related discipline with extensive industry experience.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Master’s with 12+ years.
• Broad therapeutic area exposure across Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Cardiometabolic diseases is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple inter-related teams within the Multiomic Sciences group to deliver high-impact biomarkers and omics capabilities.
• Shape and deliver site strategy and priorities, foster partnerships, and promote an innovative, compliant research environment.
• Oversee group objectives, budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet scientific and business goals.
• Define and execute Multiomic Sciences strategy, prioritizing immunoassays, MS, genomics, and advanced omics technologies.
• Drive adoption of emerging biomarker technologies and AI/ML analytics to enhance translational insights.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Area leaders to inform go/no-go decisions and dose strategies across discovery and clinical development.
