Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore is seeking a capable professional to lead the Academic Services data systems and governance efforts. You will own the Academic Core of the SMS and other academic SaaS systems, coordinate enhancements, and promote user adoption across Schools and Colleges from matriculation to graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of work experience in academic services, student systems, or digital transformation.
• Experience coordinating system changes and enhancements for SMS or enterprise systems; dashboard development and automation is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of academic operations, student lifecycle processes, and data structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to train and onboard users.

Responsibilities

• Academic Services Systems Implementation and Management: manage and coordinate key student academic systems, with primary responsibility for the SMS Academic Core and other SaaS systems; align changes with governance and timelines, promote continuous improvement.
• Data Governance, Request Management and Stewardship: act as the point of contact for academic data requests, assess and coordinate responses, ensure compliance with governance and privacy requirements.
• Data Analytics and Dashboard Development: drive dashboards and reporting solutions for Academic Services, translate requirements into dashboard functionality, support rollout and improvements.
• Cross-functional Projects and Digital Transformation: assist the Director in coordinating projects across Academic Services, Schools and Colleges to support digital transformation.
