Job summary

CHINA TELECOM (ASIA PACIFIC) PTE. LTD.

in Singapore is seeking a senior sales and business development professional to lead key account development and manage relationships with Chinese and multinational enterprises. You will identify opportunities, plan marketing initiatives for strategic products including AI data centers, cloud services, and platform businesses, and coordinate with regional teams to ensure successful execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Good understanding of telecom products and services including transmission, IP networking, IDC, cloud services, systems integration and ICT.
• At least 8 years experience in IT or telecommunications.
• Strong customer communication, business development and project coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office applications with strong information gathering, analytical and written communication skills.
• English and Chinese bilingual communication ability

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Key Account Development and Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key regional customers (including both Chinese and multinational enterprises), achieve assigned sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for business growth.
2. Industry Intelligence and Opportunity Identification: Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive intelligence; support customer analysis and identify potential business opportunities.
3. Key Project Management: Plan and execute marketing initiatives for the Business Unit's key products, monitor project progress, conduct post-project reviews, and establish product development channels within assigned countries.
4. Strategic Product Business Development: Promote and expand the market for strategic products and services, including AI Data Centers (AIDC), computing power solutions, cloud services, and platform-based businesses.
5. Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with Headquarters and regional departments to ensure effective coordination and successful implementation of industry and product initiatives.
6. Partner Ecosystem and Joint Marketing: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, and support joint marketing campaigns and business collaboration initiatives.
7. Sales Reporting and Business Analysis: Regularly compile customer and project data, prepare sales analyses, and generate business performance reports.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
2. Good understanding of telecommunications products and services, including transmission, IP networking, IDC, cloud services, systems integration, and emerging ICT solutions, with knowledge of enterprise sales processes.
3. At least 8 years experience in the IT or telecommunications industry. Experience in computing power, IDC, or the ICT industry will be an advantage.
4. Strong customer communication, business development, and project coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive project implementation.
5. Self-motivated, responsible, and results-oriented, with strong learning ability, execution skills, communication, coordination, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Willingness to travel is required.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office applications, with strong information gathering, analytical, and written communication skills.
7. Effective bilingual in English and Chinese, because the candidate needs to liaise with Chinese and English speaking stakeholders.
