Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Operations Manager (Digital Payments) based in Singapore. The role drives merchant adoption of QR payments, POS devices, and payment terminals while building relationships with merchants, partners, and stakeholders across Asia.

Regular merchant visits and cross-functional coordination will ensure seamless operational execution and campaign support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in payments, merchant operations, FMCG, retail, or O2O platforms.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese for engagement with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across regional markets.
• Familiarity with payment industry concepts such as QR payments, merchant acceptance, and payment aggregation.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive communication skills.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with ability to identify operational issues from transaction data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with merchants across Singapore to drive payment adoption and engagement.
• Conduct regular merchant visits to improve payment performance and resolve operational issues with internal teams.
• Coordinate with operations, product, compliance, and business development to ensure smooth project execution and partner support.
• Provide training and guidance on payment processes, product features, and best practices to merchants.
• Manage campaign activations and ongoing operational support with merchants and strategic partners.
• Communicate and engage Mandarin-speaking merchants and partners in China and the region.
