Job summary

Renologist is a growing interior design company in Singapore seeking a content creator to capture and produce high-quality visual content for social media. You will handle photography, videography, and editing of projects, renovations, site visits, and company events across Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, and Facebook.

You will write captions in English and Chinese, adapt content for different platforms, and collaborate with marketing and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Media, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Design or related field.
• Strong command of written English and Chinese for engaging bilingual content.
• Solid understanding of social media content creation and best practices.
• Passion for photography, videography and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of completed projects, renovation progress, site visits, homeowners' properties, and company events.
• Plan, film, and edit engaging short-form videos (60–120s) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, and others.
• Produce home tours, before-and-after transformations, renovation tips, behind-the-scenes content, and design inspiration.
• Adapt content for different platforms and audiences while maintaining brand identity.
• Write engaging captions, social media copy, and marketing content in English and Chinese to encourage enquiries.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop content ideas and campaigns.
• Organise and maintain a structured media library of photos, videos, and assets.
• Stay current with social media trends and best practices; apply AI-assisted workflows.
• Use AI tools to support ideation, copywriting, planning, and editing workflows.

About the role

This is a content creation role focused on capturing and producing high-quality visual content for social media platforms. You will be responsible for photography, videography, and content production that showcases completed projects, renovation progress, and company activities across multiple platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, and Facebook.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of completed projects, renovation progress, site visits, homeowners' properties, and company events

• Plan, film, and edit engaging short-form videos, typically 60-120 seconds, for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, and other platforms

• Produce home tours, before-and-after transformations, renovation tips, behind-the-scenes content, and design inspiration

• Adapt content for different platforms and audiences while maintaining a consistent brand identity

• Write engaging captions, social media copy, and marketing content in English and Chinese that encourages enquiries

• Work with the marketing and design teams to develop content ideas and campaigns

• Organise and maintain a structured media library of photos, videos, and other creative assets

• Stay current with social media trends, content formats, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices

• Use AI tools to support ideation, copywriting, content planning, editing, and other workflows

About you

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Design, or a related field

• Good command of written English and Chinese, with the ability to create engaging content for both English- and Chinese-speaking audiences

• Strong understanding of social media content creation and platform-specific best practices

• Passion for photography, videography, and visual storytelling

• Confidence in independently taking photos and filming at project sites

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent video-editing software

• Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content creation, editing, research, or productivity

• A creative eye for composition, lighting, colour, and aesthetics

• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, and current social media trends
