Job summary

SMARTSTYLE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior editorial professional to lead beauty content across article and video formats.

You will steer editorial direction, calendar delivery, and cross-department collaboration to ensure high-quality output. You will curate beauty content, review junior editors, maintain brand consistency, and build relationships with beauty brands for editorial insights and product seeding.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in media.
• Expertise in producing advertorial content in article, photo feed and video formats.
• Creative, good communication skills, team spirit and work enthusiasm. Being familiar with social media operations.
• Possess a strong pulse of cultural conversations and understanding of trends.
• Self-motivated showing strong sense of advertorial creation and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in collaborating with videographers, photographers & designers independently.
• Familiar with using Adobe PS, AI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Producing captivating article and video content focusing on beauty & lifestyle, demonstrating a strong grasp of current social media trends.
• Directing the editorial direction and strategy, ensuring the punctual delivery of content through meticulous oversight of the editorial calendar.
• Serving as a liaison between various departments to streamline communication and enhance collaboration.
• Curating quality content in beauty in article & video format, reviewing content produced by junior editors to ensure consistency and quality.
• Managing relationships with public relations contacts in targeted beauty brands, soliciting the latest products for editorial review, and staying abreast of beauty industry trends and developments.
• Preparing both organic and sponsored video content on beauty topics, directing our cameraman for shooting and editing.
• Presenting yourself as an expert and sharing your beauty knowledge with followers through organic and sponsored content in article and video formats.
• Actively communicating with the sales team to suggest content direction in beauty topics that cater to the interests of our local audience.
