Job summary

GERMS Digital in Singapore is seeking a Content Creator/Producer who can spot strong ideas and bring them to life across platforms. You’ll shape briefs into scripts, shot lists and finished content, working behind the camera, in editing suites and on set.

You will manage end-to-end production, collaborate with internal teams and clients, and stay ahead of platform trends while delivering content that feels native, on-brand and performance-driven.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in content creation, social media, video production or a similar role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating social-first thinking, visual storytelling and hands-on production ability.
• Proficiency in video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
• Working knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio recording and basic production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop original content ideas based on client briefs, audience insights, platform trends and cultural conversations.

We are looking for a Content Creator / Producer who can spot a strong idea, shape it for the right platform and bring it to life from start to finish. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera, inside an editing suite and at the centre of a production. You will turn briefs, trends and cultural moments into content that feels relevant, looks sharp and performs with purpose.

In short: you do not just make content. You make content happen.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Develop original content ideas based on client briefs, audience insights, platform trends and cultural conversations.
• Translate ideas into scripts, storyboards, shot lists and practical production plans.
• Create photography, short-form videos, social-first content, interviews, event coverage and behind-the-scenes material.
• Shoot confidently using smartphones and professional camera equipment.
• Edit content with strong pacing, sound, captions, colour treatment and platform-appropriate storytelling.

Production

• Manage the full production process, from pre-production and scheduling to shoot execution and final delivery.
• Prepare production timelines, budgets, call sheets, equipment lists and logistical requirements.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, crew, talent, locations and production partners.
• Lead or support shoots, ensuring that the creative vision is achieved efficiently and safely.
• Anticipate production challenges and solve them calmly before they become expensive problems.
• Manage feedback, revisions, file organisation and final asset delivery.
• Ensure every output meets the required brand, technical and platform specifications.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Creative, Content, Planning, Account Servicing and Project teams.
• Contribute practical production thinking during the concept stage- not only after an idea has been approved.
• Present ideas clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients.
• Balance creative ambition with timelines, budgets and real-world production realities.
• Use content performance and audience response to improve future work.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in content creation, social media, video production or a similar role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating social-first thinking, visual storytelling and hands-on production ability.
• Proficiency in video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.

• Strong storytelling instincts and a good eye for composition, pacing and detail.
• A clear understanding of how content differs across platforms and audiences.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and moving parts without losing the plot.
• Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Openness to using generative AI and emerging creative tools to improve ideation, production and workflow.
• Flexibility to attend shoots, events or live coverage outside regular working hours when required.
