About the Role
You are the one-person production line.
The one who takes a concept from a loose idea in a brainstorm all the way to a finished, published asset. You ideate it, you design the static or storyboard the video, you shoot it, you edit it, and you write the copy that ties it together. You use AI tools to move faster at every stage, but you don't let them do your thinking for you.
This is a role for someone who sees design, video, and copy as one creative idea, not three separate tasks to check off. You know what a strong concept looks like before it's shot, and you know how to make it look that way after.
Key Responsibilities
Ideation & Concept
- Contributing real ideas in brainstorms for social campaigns and content calendars and not just executing what's handed to you
- Translating content strategies and briefs into concepts that work across static, video, and copy
Design & Storyboarding
- Developing static design mockups and video storyboards from concept to shot-ready
- Using AI design and copywriting tools alongside traditional software to speed up production without cutting corners on craft
Shoot & Edit
- Planning and running content shoots efficiently, including gimbal/drone (DJI) and camera-based footage
- Editing video content end-to-end, from raw footage to a publish-ready cut, including basic motion graphics where needed
Copy
- Prompting, generating and editing copy and captions for your own content, matching tone and voice to each platform and client
Delivery & Collaboration
- Managing multiple content projects simultaneously and delivering within timelines, without needing a producer to keep you on track
- Working closely with Content Strategy Executives, and presenting your concepts clearly when it counts
Requirements
Must-Haves
- Min. 1 year of experience in content creation, spanning at least two of: design, video production, or copywriting
- A portfolio showing range across static design, video (shoot-to-edit), and written copy. The full pipeline, not just one skill
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and comfort using AI tools across design, video, and copy workflows
- Photography and videography skills, including hands-on experience running shoots
- Video editing skills, from raw footage through post-production
Nice-to-Haves
- Motion graphics, animation, or experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment
Personal Attributes
- Confident, persuasive writing, with or without AI assistance
- Genuinely comfortable wearing multiple hats: design, video, and copy, not just the one you're best at
- Opinionated about your own concepts: you know when an idea is strong enough to shoot, and when it isn't
- Detail-oriented without being rigid: you care about what goes out, not just whether the brief was technically met
- Comfortable owning a piece of content start to finish, not passing it along once your part is "done"
- Proactive and takes initiative; you pitch the idea before someone asks for one
