Job summary

Activate Interactive is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a 1 year contract to enhance cloud operations, automation, and security across government-focused applications. You will implement observability, automate pipelines, and drive secure, scalable delivery in a cloud-native environment.

Required are scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), cloud experience (AWS), and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, plus IaC with Terraform/Ansible. Government-regulated work experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in computer science, IT, or related discipline.
• Experience with DevSecOps, site reliability, or cloud platform engineering.
• Familiarity with government security policies and audits.

Responsibilities

• Implement automation and observability across cloud-native products.
• Embed security controls in CI/CD pipelines and automate checks.
• Develop reusable platform components and maintain tooling for reliability.
