Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen CI/CD, cloud operations, and security across government systems. You will work with software engineers, cloud architects, security teams and program managers to raise platform resilience and developer productivity.

The role requires hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, SHIP-HATS, AWS, and IaC tools, plus strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
• 3+ years of DevOps/platform engineering/cloud operations experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, managing, and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines in enterprise/government environments.
• Experience with SHIP-HATS or similar DevSecOps delivery platforms and secure pipeline configuration.
• Experience with monitoring tools, log analytics, alerting frameworks, and incident investigation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and supporting cloud-hosted workloads.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and SHIP-HATS across environments.
• Implement secure deployment automation with approval workflows, audit trails, and rollback procedures.
• Support cloud operations across AWS and GCC environments, including infrastructure configuration and monitoring.
• Develop automation scripts, templates, runbooks, and deployment standards to reduce manual effort.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
• Monitor health with enterprise tools, dashboards, alerts, and log analysis.
• Coordinate release planning with development, infra, security, and operations teams.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for incidents.
