Job summary

EPAM Systems in Singapore is seeking a DevOps/SRE Engineer to keep Java Spring Boot services stable and fast across hybrid cloud platforms, while improving CI/CD automation and observability.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, build reliable releases, and collaborate with engineering teams across local and remote locations to drive production reliability and efficient deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting production Java platforms in hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on with Linux troubleshooting in distributed systems.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and release automation with Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Shell, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• Observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, or AppDynamics.

Responsibilities

• Support Java (Jakarta EE, Spring Boot) multi-tier applications and troubleshoot complex service interactions.
• Analyze application logs and metrics to isolate incidents and prevent repeat issues.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Deploy applications on Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Red Hat OpenShift with container workloads.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation to standardize environments.
• Operate monitoring, logging and alerting with ELK, Grafana and Prometheus.
• Coordinate release and change management including scheduling deployments and documenting changes.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations across local and remote locations.
