EPAM SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Java backend specialist to support production Java platforms in hybrid cloud environments. You will work with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable services across local and remote teams.

You will analyze logs, build and optimize CI/CD workflows, and participate in infrastructure as code and observability practices using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stacks. A strong scripting background is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience supporting production Java platforms in hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on Linux troubleshooting in distributed systems.
• Practical knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and release automation (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting in Shell, Python, or PowerShell for automations.
• Observability with Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, or AppDynamics.
• Cloud exposure to AWS or GCP services.
• Good understanding of Git workflows including branching/deployments.

What You'll Do

• Support Java (Jakarta EE, Spring Boot) multi-tier applications and troubleshoot complex service interactions
• Analyze application logs and metrics to isolate incidents and prevent repeat issues
• Build and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Deploy applications on Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Red Hat OpenShift including container-based workloads
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation to standardize environments
• Operate monitoring, logging and alerting using Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana and Prometheus
• Coordinate release and change management including scheduling deployments and documenting changes
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams across local and remote locations
