Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional to lead a small team focused on automating deployments and building scalable, reliable systems. You will architect and implement modern CI/CD pipelines and champion cloud-native practices in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor junior engineers, produce comprehensive technical blueprints and training materials, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure robust observability, security, and operational excellence across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps/SRE, cloud, or AWS environment.
• Proficiency with IaC and containerization: Terraform, Docker, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong Linux experience (Debian/Ubuntu) with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Vault.
• Mandarin speaking required for liaison with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.

• Min 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps or SRE, or Cloud capacity, with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, and CI/CD frameworks


• Demonstrated proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization tools, specifically Terraform, Docker, and Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD


• Strong foundation in Linux environments (Debian/Ubuntu) coupled with excellent scripting capabilities utilizing Python, Bash, or PowerShell


• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining observability, monitoring, and secret management stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, and Vault


• Mandarin speaking required (conversational will do) as you need to liaise with Chinese counterparts who can only speak and write in Mandarin.
