Job summary

Join DevOps is seeking a talented DevOps Lead to head a team responsible for automated deployments, reliability and scalable processes across departments. You will collaborate with Development and Product teams to ensure smooth delivery, maintenance planning and quick resolution of build issues.

The role emphasizes day-to-day system monitoring, CI/CD pipeline development, and automation using Kubernetes and other modern tooling. Strong mentoring and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong experience in DevOps practices and automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tooling (Grafana/Prometheus).
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps team to implement automated deployments.
• Day-to-day monitoring, backup, deployment and maintenance of systems.
• Develop/build/maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Write scripts for service monitoring and health checks.
• Automate and build scalable environments using Kubernetes.
• Automate security hardening in testing, deployment and production setups.
• Mentor juniors on setup, deployment and maintenance.
• Provide operating guidance, training and troubleshooting documents.
• Provide technical insights for design and implementation of solutions.
• Promote DevOps culture and drive end-to-end release improvements.
• Continuously identify new tools to improve production processes.
