Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a 1-year fixed-term engagement with GovTech/MSF projects. You will work across the MSF family on APIs, backend services, frontend interfaces, data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

The role emphasises strong fundamentals in AWS, IaC, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, with a focus on security, observability and production reliability. Join a growing team delivering impactful public-sector technology.

Qualifications

• For DevOps/Infrastructure focus, experience with AWS and cloud infra is essential.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OpenTofu) and GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes / ECS / EKS).
• Ability to deploy and automate cloud platforms, with security/compliance awareness.
• Solid understanding of observability, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Support MSF division projects across citizen-facing and backend services.
• Develop, deploy and maintain APIs and modern frontend interfaces.
• Build secure data ingestion, ETL pipelines and cloud infra pipelines.
• Collaborate with government partners and other MSF teams.
• Enhance automated testing, reliability, observability and security controls.
