Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud operations, automation, security, monitoring, CI/CD, platform reliability and operational support in a commercial cloud environment.

The role involves designing and maintaining pipelines, managing multi-stage cloud infra, IaC, incident management and close collaboration with developers to ensure platform stability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure or Gov Cloud.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management, IAM and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., government/GovTech).
• Experience with mission-critical, high-availability systems and restricted networks.
• Familiarity with security automation and DevSecOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

Job description

The DevOps Engineer will be a senior technical specialist responsible for cloud operations, automation, security, monitoring, CI/CD, platform reliability, and operational support within a commercial cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and release management.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Government Commercial Cloud.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Bicep.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and scripting using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management, IAM and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience supporting government, MINDEF/SAF, GovTech or other regulated environments.
• Experience with mission-critical, high-availability systems and restricted networks.
• Familiarity with security automation and DevSecOps pipelines.
