Job summary

Vinova Pte. Ltd. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and maintain automation, observability, and security for cloud-native environments supporting Enterprise Singapore’s digital products on-site.

You will build reusable platform components, automate workflows, embed security into CI/CD, and collaborate across cloud operations, security, infrastructure, and product teams to uplift engineering practices and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating automation, observability, and security capabilities in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing observability across applications, infrastructure, and distributed cloud services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, configuration management, and operational automation.
• Experience embedding security controls into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GovTech platforms or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and build reusable DevSecOps platform components for digital products.
• Integrate observability tools across applications, infrastructure, and distributed cloud services.
• Establish engineering practices to enable product teams to deploy and operate services reliably.
• Develop and automate cloud operational workflows for consistent provisioning and maintenance.
• Create reusable infrastructure modules and automation workflows to promote cloud pattern adoption.
• Embed security controls into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support incident response and problem management by diagnosing issues and improving availability through monitoring and automation.
• Maintain dashboards, alerting standards, runbooks, and continuous service improvements.
• Collaborate with cloud operations, security, infrastructure, and product teams to uplift engineering practices.

Job Summary

The DevSecOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation, observability, and security capabilities for cloud-native environments. You will enable reliable, secure product delivery and improve cloud operations for Enterprise Singapore’s digital products.

Responsibilities

• Plan and build reusable DevSecOps platform components to support in-house and new digital products
• Integrate observability tools across applications, infrastructure, and distributed cloud services to enhance service health visibility
• Establish and maintain standard engineering practices to enable product teams to deploy and operate services reliably
• Develop and automate cloud operational workflows to ensure consistent, secure, and efficient cloud provisioning and maintenance
• Create reusable infrastructure modules and automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve adoption of approved cloud patterns
• Embed security controls into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, automating vulnerability management, access control, and compliance checks
• Support incident response and problem management by diagnosing complex issues and improving availability through monitoring and automation
• Maintain operational tooling including dashboards, alerting standards, runbooks, and continuous service improvements
• Collaborate with cloud operations, security, infrastructure, and product teams to uplift engineering practices and support digital transformation

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Experience designing and operating automation, observability, and security capabilities in cloud-native environments
• Hands-on experience implementing observability across applications, infrastructure, and distributed cloud services
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, configuration management, and operational automation
• Experience embedding security controls into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD platforms, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience supporting government, public-sector, or other highly regulated environments

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with GovTech platforms, including StackOps, and establishing consistent monitoring standards across product teams
