Job summary

DesignSingapore Council Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager in the Design Practice division to drive initiatives, events and strategic engagements that build design mindsets across General Education and the wider community.

You will lead programmes like Learning by Design and coordinate with partners, schools and public agencies to deliver impactful design education and community activations. The role focuses on project management, stakeholder engagement, and contributing to

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or up to 4 years of experience in programme implementation and project management.
• Experience in managing relationships across stakeholders.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Events, Design or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to engage stakeholders.
• Able to multi-task and adapt to fast-changing environments.
• Team player with collaboration and co-creation mindset.
• Knowledge of design sector or General Education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement Design Practice programmes and initiatives.
• Develop project plans, budgets and progress trackers for timely delivery.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Prepare reports, briefings and management updates.
• Support procurement, budgets and contract management.
• Design and deliver community engagement initiatives promoting participation in design.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation activities with diverse groups.
• Map stakeholders and identify community needs and opportunities.
• Synthesize insights to inform programme development.
• Support development of Design Districts and activations.
• Build relationships with schools, institutions and public agencies.
• Coordinate partnership discussions and proposals.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and internal teams.
• Support learning programmes and capability development in design education.
• Work with schools and partners to implement learning experiences.
• Conduct research on design education trends.
• Support programme evaluation and impact measurement.
• Contribute to cross-divisional strategic projects and events like SDB.
• Coordinate with divisions and vendors on implementation.
• Assist planning and execution of events and engagements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve outcomes.
