Job summary

Sembcorp is seeking a seasoned Manager, Project Design to lead design development for industrial, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure designs are functional, sustainable, and aligned with business goals, while managing timelines and budgets.

The role requires 8–10 years in architectural design or development management, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Project, and willingness to travel within Southeast

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related discipline; professional accreditation advantageous.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, design management, or development management.
• Experience managing projects through full development lifecycle including concept, feasibility, design development, tendering, construction, and completion.
• Experience on overseas development projects, preferably in Southeast Asia (Vietnam/Indonesia) is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM (Revit), Adobe Creative Suite and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design development for industrial, commercial, and mixed-use projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and project teams to ensure design aligns with objectives and budgets.
• Prepare scopes, briefs, and consultant requirements for architects and engineers; manage external consultants.
• Monitor design progress, ensure regulatory compliance, and balance quality, timeline, and cost constraints.
• Support procurement and tendering with technical specs and design drawings; review submissions for alignment with design intent.
• Collaborate with development, leasing, operations, and engineering teams; travel within the region as needed.
