Job summary

HUATIONG Contractor Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to manage design, geotechnical and structural matters for infrastructure projects. You will present and coordinate design issues with the project team, the Contractor’s PE, and the PE (Geo).

The role requires at least 5 years of local infrastructure experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and strong knowledge of ERSS and temporary works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by relevant authorities.
• Minimum 5 years of local infrastructure experience.
• Experience in design management and coordination with PEs and specialist subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical, structural, ERSS and temporary works.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Independent working capability within the project team.

• Ensure design coordination and submissions comply with project specifications and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant local experience in infrastructure construction projects, with experience in design management and coordination with PEs and specialist subcontractors.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by the Commissioner of Building Control or the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).

• Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical, structural, ERSS, and temporary works.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Must be independent of any other role within the project.
