Job summary

OVIVO SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a design and engineering professional to lead piping and related disciplines for process plants.

You will guide engineers and designers through plotting, routing, layouts, MTO, vendor documents, and isometrics, ensuring compliance with client specs. The role requires 5–10 years in process plant design, strong communication, and proficiency in AutoCAD Plant3D, Revit, and related tools; you will coordinate with clients, vendors, and project teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering in relevant MEP (mechanical, electrical and piping) related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in design & engineering of process plants is preferred.
• Strong sketching and concise technical communication.
• Good teamwork and time management.
• Analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Guide engineers and designers on plot plans, routing, layouts, MTO and isometrics.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and vendors for updates and clarifications.
• Provide planning and direction for design team on project tasks.
• Coordinate/validate pipe stress analysis (static and dynamic).
• Review and generate piping, support, isometrics and steel drawings.
• Coordinate design calculations and ensure compliance with specs.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Guide Engineers and Designers to produce plot plan, conceptual pipe routing, piping layout, equipment layout, Piping Material Specification, ISOs, pipe cross section, pipe rack loading, Stress report, MTO, piping vendor document review etc.
• Attend meeting and co-ordinate with client and other discipline and vendors for regular update of the project and clarifications
• Provide planning and direction for Design Team in project specific tasks.
• Coordinate / validate pipe stress analysis (Static and Dynamic Analysis)
• Provide recommendations for modification or validation of piping layouts
• Review / generate piping, support and isometrics drawings
• Review / generate steel structure drawings
• Generate piping/structural material take off list
• Review / generate and optimize facility layout and structural design
• Coordinate / validate design calculations according to project requirements
• Liaise with client, project managers in design works
• Provide value engineering proposals during tender and ongoing projects
• Coordinate and assist the project team regarding on site works
• Ensure site works are according to the design drawings
• Check through drawings and ensure drawings are according to the design calculation
• Prepare As-built drawings/calculation for submissions
• Ensure design compliance with respective client/company specification and codes.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering in relevant MEP (mechanical, electrical and piping/plumping) related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in design & engineering of process plants is preferred.
• Good sketching skills and ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas concisely
• Good communication skills essential for team-based working.
• Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
• Good time management habits and ability to multi-task

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (Plant3d, Revit, Advanced Steel would be advantage)
