Job summary

GovTech in Singapore is seeking a Design Leader to drive the evolution of public services. You will bring strategic vision, design leadership, and organizational transformation to ensure we solve the right problems and build high-performing teams with real impact.

This role focuses on building new digital products and services, catalysing change at the intersection of technology, policy and operations, and shaping design as a strategic strength across the agency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and shipping digital solutions end-to-end across multiple streams.
• 5+ years leading and growing design teams with measurable impact.
• Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and cross-domain projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design strategy and execution across an agency portfolio with impact.
• Drive discovery to uncover root causes and user needs for systemic improvements.
• Guide end-to-end user experiences across systems, processes, touchpoints.
• Partner with engineering, product, policymakers and operations to align needs with feasibility.
• Build and mentor design teams, fostering craft and collaboration.
• Shape design-led frameworks for discovery, problem definition and experimentation.
