You will design and run qualitative and quantitative studies, synthesize findings into clear recommendations, and collaborate with Design, Product, Engineering, and Business partners to shape decisions.

## Design Insights & Validation Research LeadApply: Singapore, South West, Singapore: Full time: Posted Yesterday: UNI4649Design Insights & Validation Research Lead**Description -****What a Design Insights & Validation Research Lead does at HP:*** Lead end-to-end research initiatives, from problem definition and research planning to execution, synthesis, and insight delivery across assigned projects and workstreams.* Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research, including in-depth interviews, usability testing, surveys, concept validation, journey evaluation, and behavioral research.* Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that inform product, experience, and business decisions.* Explore and validate concepts, prototypes, and live experiences, evaluating clarity, usability, trust, relevance, and perceived value.* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Design, Product, Engineering, and Business to align research objectives and translate findings into decisions.* Apply methodological rigor while selecting research approaches appropriate to business questions, timelines, and resources.* Contribute to the development and improvement of research frameworks, tools, templates, and best practices.* Support the communication and scaling of research insights through documentation, repositories, and reusable knowledge systems.* Communicate research findings through compelling storytelling, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders. **Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Design Research, or a related field.* Typically 3–6 years of relevant experience in UX research, design research, market research, or related disciplines.* Strong foundation in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including the ability to select appropriate methods for different research objectives.* Curiosity about human behavior, evolving technology, physical and digital interactions, and emerging AI experiences.* Ability to structure ambiguous business and design questions into clear research objectives and actionable studies.* Strong analytical and synthesis skills, translating qualitative and quantitative findings into meaningful insights.* Understanding of human-centered design, experience validation, usability principles, and experience metrics.* Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.* Familiarity with research platforms such as UserTesting, Suzy, Qualtrics, or similar tools.* Familiarity with AI-assisted research workflows, including synthesis, analysis, and research productivity.* Experience with remote, moderated, unmoderated, and iterative research methods.* Strong written, verbal, and visual storytelling skills.* Exposure to behavioral analytics, experimental design, or eye-tracking tools is an advantage.* Independently executes research projects and contributes to research activities across assigned workstreams.* Provides evidence-based recommendations that influence design and product decisions.* Collaborates with cross-functional teams and contributes to stakeholder discussions.* Supports research quality, methodological consistency, and the reuse of insights across the organization. *Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
