Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Research Assistant for a one-year contract starting in December 2026. The role focuses on supporting acquisitions, documentation, and design-history research across projects.

You will attend item viewings, assist with donor discussions, and coordinate with teams on handling and cataloguing acquired items while preparing meeting minutes and providing admin support.

Qualifications

• Strong research, writing and organisational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Background in design, art history or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the processing and documentation of new acquisitions through donations and purchases.
• Attend item viewings and assist with discussions involving potential donors and lenders.
• Conduct research on design history, contemporary design and related topics.
• Assist with research and content development for projects and presentations.
• Coordinate with relevant teams on the handling and transportation of acquired items.
• Support stakeholder communications, acquisition procedures, cataloguing and documentation.
• Prepare meeting minutes and provide general administrative support.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
