Job summary

Recruit Expert Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Power Electronics Design Engineer to develop analog/digital control systems for switch-mode power converters, balancing performance with reliability and cost.

The role involves prototyping, simulations, and validating designs across electrical and thermal domains. You will collaborate with mechanical, PCB, manufacturing, procurement and quality teams to transfer designs into production while ensuring compliance with IEC, UL, RoHS and REACH

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in power electronics design (flyback, forward, buck, boost, resonant converters).
• Knowledge of magnetic design, EMI/EMC mitigation, thermal management, and reliability testing.
• Familiarity with analog/digital control strategies, embedded firmware (MCU/DSP), and communication protocols (PMBus, I2C, SPI, CAN).
• Proficiency with simulation tools (LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink), PCB CAD, and lab instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, electronic loads).
