Job summary

Our client, a Connection Technology Industry (MNC) in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop power electronics circuits and converter solutions. You will also support PCB development, validate prototypes and troubleshoot circuits to meet safety and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on new products, qualification and launches from concept through commercialization, while evaluating emerging technologies to provide

Qualifications

• Min. degree in Electronic Engineering / Power Electronics or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in power electronics design, circuit development and PCB design in industrial, energy or electronics sectors.
• Familiarity with LTSpice, Matlab/Simulink, PLECS or LabVIEW is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronic circuits and converter solutions with schematic design, component selection and simulations.
• Support PCB development activities, prototype validation, circuit troubleshooting and testing for compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development, qualification and launches from concept to commercialization.

• Jurong East
• UP $9,700 Basic + AWS + Variable Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop power electronic circuits and converter solutions, including schematic design, component selection and simulation to meet performance, reliability and cost objectives
• Support PCB development activities, prototype validation, circuit troubleshooting and product testing to ensure compliance with technical, safety and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development, product qualification and successful product launches from concept through commercialization
• Drive innovation initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, developing new solutions and providing technical expertise for power electronics applications

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Electronic Engineering / Power Electronics or equivalent
• Min. 3 years of experience in power electronics design, circuit development and PCB design within industrial, energy or electronics-related industries
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as LTSpice, Matlab/Simulink, PLECS or LabVIEW will be an added advantage
