Job summary

HPS PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Injection Mold Design Engineer to design plastic injection molds that meet customer specifications.

You will prepare manufacturability documentation and work closely with CAM and manufacturing teams to deliver engineered plastic parts and assemblies. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, strong CAD skills (Unigraphics NX12), and hands-on experience with Mold Design and Moldflow/Moldex3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong CAD skills and knowledge of Unigraphics NX12.
• Hands-on experience with Mold Design and Moldflow MPI / Moldex3D.
• Proactive with strong innovative and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design plastic injection molds in line with customer requirements and specifications.
• Prepare DFM (Design for Manufacturability) documentation according to customer specifications.
• Develop 3D and 2D solid mold designs using UG NX12 software (or higher).
• Design engineered plastic parts, insert-molded parts, and assemblies.
• Collaborate closely with the CAM and Manufacturing departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Strong knowledge of CAD and Unigraphics NX12
• Hands-on experience with Mold Design and Moldflow MPI /Moldex 3D
• Proactive with strong innovative and analytical thinking
