Job summary

FJ MACHINERY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to prepare detailed shop and construction drawings for steel and aluminium works.

The candidate will perform precise site checks, ensure dimensional accuracy, and coordinate with project teams to deliver fabrication-ready drawings. The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in AutoCAD drawing or Architecture, strong AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with BIM Revit as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Certificate in AutoCAD drawing or Architecture.
• Proven ability to read and understand detailed drawings.
• Experience producing construction detailed drawings for steel and aluminium works.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction drawings with quality and accuracy.
• Prepare detailed as-built drawings.
• Perform site checking to ensure proper dimension, connection and detail for fabrication.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Architect, Designer and Consultant on drawing details.
• Coordinate with contractors and Aluminium, Facade and Steel works on fabrication details.
• Ensure drawings meet relevant code and compliance requirements.
• Report to Design Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction drawings, withquality and accuracy
• Prepare detailed as-built drawings
• Perform site checking to ensure proper dimension, connection anddetail for fabrication
• Liaise with Project Manager, Architect, Designer and Consultanton details drawing
• Coordinate with contractors and Alum, Facade and Steel works on fabrication details
• Carry out proper documentation to current drawings / document
• Ensure drawings meet relevant code and compliance requirements
• Report to Design Manager

About you

• Minimum Diploma / Certificate in AutoCAD drawing or Architecture
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Practical knowledge in BIM Revit will be an advantage
• Minimum 5years of relevant working experience in producing construction detaileddrawings, Steel and Alum work
• Must be able to read and understand drawings
• Meticulous and able to work independently
