Job summary

ETLA Limited is seeking a Design & Costing Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore. This full-time role focuses on translating conceptual designs into detailed engineering solutions while maintaining cost efficiency and project budgets.

You will develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD tools like AutoCAD/SolidWorks, review RFQ requirements, perform cost estimation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of mechanical design or related experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: Develop detailed mechanical designs to meet customer and project requirements.
• DFM & Technical Consultation: Lead DFM reviews and advise on cost-effective manufacturing options.
• Costing & Quotation Support: Prepare detailed cost estimates for development, tooling, manufacturing and assembly.
• Risk Management & Stakeholder Coordination: Identify risks and escalate where needed for timely decisions.
• Continuous Improvement: Support engineering projects and process improvements across teams.
