Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore is seeking a Building Development Project Manager to oversee development, redevelopment and refurbishment of MSE-owned infrastructure such as hawker centres and after-death facilities.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate funding approvals, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality, safety and sustainability across NEA projects. The role demands 5+ years of relevant experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Architecture/Building/PM degree and 5+ years in consultancy/building.
• Ability to foresee risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Analytical with strong writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of existing and emerging building technologies for NEA facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management for development of MSE/NEA facilities such as after-death facilities, hawker centres and markets.
• Work with stakeholders to prepare and seek funding approvals for building projects.
• Lead multi-disciplinary consultant teams to monitor and manage projects for schedule and budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies and propose innovative/cost-effective solutions.
• Review design proposals to meet NEA objectives on quality, delivery, environment, safety and PR.
• Manage procurement and administration of consultancy/construction contracts.
• Prepare progress updates, forecast budgets and track expenditures.
• Ensure governance in contract administration for consultancy, Builder's works or other services.
