Job summary

PSA Singapore is seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead the management and modernisation of enterprise backup and storage platforms supporting PSA's digital operations.

You will strengthen data resilience, cyber recovery, disaster recovery readiness, and operational reliability across our technology ecosystem while mentoring junior engineers and guiding technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure operations experience with backup, storage, virtualization, and DR concepts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to lead during high-severity incidents and coordinate recovery efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise backup and recovery operations across databases, VMs, servers and critical applications.
• Manage backup platforms such as Commvault Backup & Recovery and ZDLRA, including Oracle RMAN protection.
• Drive restoration, disaster recovery, cyber recovery and ransomware recovery activities.
• Manage storage infrastructure: provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, replication, lifecycle management.
• Design and implement backup retention, archival, replication and recovery strategies.
• Support recovery validation, drills, audits, and governance.
• Provide leadership during major incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infra and product teams to ensure secure operations.
• Identify opportunities to automate and modernise infrastructure operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture planning.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer specialising in Backup, Recovery, Enterprise Storage and Data Resilience to join our team.

In this role, you will lead the management and modernisation of enterprise backup and storage platforms that support PSA's mission-critical digital operations. You will play a key role in strengthening data resilience, cyber recovery, disaster recovery readiness and operational reliability across our technology ecosystem.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Lead enterprise backup and recovery operations across databases, virtual machines, physical servers and critical business applications.
• Manage backup platforms such as Commvault Backup & Recovery and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliances, including Oracle database protection using RMAN and ZDLRA.
• Drive restoration, disaster recovery, cyber recovery and ransomware recovery activities to strengthen data resilience.
• Manage enterprise storage infrastructure, including provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, replication and lifecycle management.
• Design and implement backup retention, archival, replication and recovery strategies aligned to business continuity requirements.
• Support recovery validation, disaster recovery drills, audit, compliance and governance activities.
• Provide technical leadership during major incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure and product teams to ensure secure, reliable and resilient operations.
• Identify opportunities to automate, modernise and improve infrastructure operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to infrastructure architecture planning and technology roadmaps.

What we are looking for:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure operations, with strong exposure to backup, recovery, storage, virtualization, Windows/Linux administration and disaster recovery concepts
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments
• Ability to lead and coordinate during high-severity incidents and recovery situations
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across infrastructure, cybersecurity and product teams
• Strong ownership, accountability and a self-driven approach to continuous improvement
• Passion for infrastructure reliability, resilience and operational excellence
• Ready to work in a team providing 24x7 support
