MERANTI POWER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Deputy Head, Commercial to develop and operationalize diesel procurement negotiations and contracts. You will lead supplier relationships, monitor market trends, and drive cost savings while ensuring governance and risk management.

The role requires an established track record in diesel procurement, strategic sourcing, and high-value contract negotiation, with leadership experience and willingness to base on Jurong Island, Singapore.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in economics, business, supply chain, or engineering or related field.
At least 5 years in commercial, procurement, or fuel-related roles is advantageous.
Proven skills in diesel procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation.
Strong knowledge of fuel markets, pricing mechanisms, and risk management.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement diesel procurement strategies for reliable supply and competitive pricing.
Manage supplier relationships including diesel suppliers, traders, and logistics providers.
Monitor market trends and inform procurement planning and market intelligence.
Lead contract negotiations and administration for diesel purchasing, transport, and storage.
Control procurement risks and budgets, delivering cost savings and governance compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and business growth.
