Job summary

JTC Corporation in Singapore seeks a seasoned land use and planning professional to plan, source and manage the land stock to support Singapore’s economic development. You will lead policy development, land resource planning, geospatial analysis and cross‑agency collaboration to optimise land use and productivity.

Responsibilities include reviewing policies, coordinating land acquisitions and top‑ups, monitoring supply, and driving efficiency through technology and staff development.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Economics, Business, Real Estate, Geography or related to the built environment sector.
• Training in geospatial analytics is an advantage.
• At least 5 years working experience leading a team.
• Possess strong communication skills with the ability to build effective and strong working relationships at all levels.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent written and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, source and manage JTC’s land stock to support Singapore’s development needs.
• Review existing land use policies and recommend new policies to support industrial restructuring.
• Manage the land stock including buying land, lease top up, and right-siting companies.
• Put vacant land to interim use to optimise land use and minimise costs.
• Formulate and track land recycling plans and identify replacement sites for EBR/SBB.
• Supervise geospatial analyses and create GIS tools to improve planning decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, cluster officers, architects and planners on master plans.
• Work with other agencies on land use matters to safeguard JTC’s interests.
• Enhance productivity through process reviews and technology adoption.
• Support staff development and career progression.
