Job summary

United Tec Construction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee PPVC, precast and modular projects.

You will lead project teams, coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and ensure workmanship, safety and compliance with codes while delivering on time and within budget. The successful candidate will bring at least 10 years of construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of PPVC

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, preferably PPVC, precast, or modular projects.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills demonstrated in construction project environments.
• Familiarity with PPVC installation processes and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team and coordinate with clients and sub-contractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Lead teams by outlining work, reviewing technical accuracy and outcomes.
• Manage consultants to meet project program, design deliverables, and approvals.
• Review and verify consultants / specialist’s design drawings and propose feasible alternatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Oversee site progress and monitor shop drawing progress.
• Resolve design-related site issues to avoid delays.
• Review and approve RFI and Site-Design amendments.
• Support overall project execution and cost control.
• Know contract base provisions and variation orders.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team, coordinate with client's, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure the works carried out meet the desired quality/workmanship, specifications, code requirements and the projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage and lead teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes.
• Manage the consultants to meet project program, design deliverables, and Authority submission and timely approval.
• Review C verify consultants / specialist’s design drawings, counter propose alternative design and feasibility of construction.
• Ensure the designs comply with relevant codes compliances and regulations.
• ICE meeting schedules and requirements.
• Oversee site work progress, monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to construction team.
• Resolve site issues related to design or changes required by Construction team, to ensure no delay affecting main program.
• Review and approve RFI C Site-Design Amendments
• Ensure timely completion and good quality of works
• Vast knowledge of Code Requirement
• Cost Control
• Know contract (base provision, VO’s, etc)
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support overall project execution and team objectives
