Job summary

UNIVERSAL DENTAL SURGERY in Singapore is seeking a dental assistant/receptionist for part-time or full-time roles at Yishun, near Khatib MRT. Singaporean or PR only; on-site work with evenings and Saturday mornings.

On-the-job training provided, prior dental experience preferred. Responsibilities include patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing, room setup, assisting dentists and hygienists, and maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Singaporean or PR status preferred.
• Experience in a dental clinic is an advantage.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Willingness to work evenings and Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Front staff duties: patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing and administrative support.
• Prepare treatment room and assist dentists and dental hygienists.
• Maintain clinic equipment, instruments and materials.
• Ensure high standard of infection control and sterilization.
• Liaise with government schemes (e.g., CHAS, Medisave) for claims submission.
• Perform any other duties as dental assistant/front desk staff as required.

On the job training will be provided but applicants with experience will be preferred. Working schedule will include at least one to two evenings and Sat morning sessions.

• Preparing treatment room and assisting our Dentists and Dental Hygienists
• Maintaining clinic equipment, instruments and materials in good order
• Ensure high standard of infection control and sterilization
• Liaise with government schemes (e.g., CHAS, Medisave for claims submission)
• Any other duties that will be required of a dental assistant / front desk staff
