Job summary

OSOMPI PTE. LTD. is seeking a Dental Nurse Assistant to support dentists during consultations and procedures.

You will prepare rooms, instruments, and materials, ensuring strict sterilization and infection control. The role includes handling radiographs where certified and assisting with inventory and patient instruction. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of dental assisting experience, preferably with oral surgery exposure, and can work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Experience in oral surgery preparation and assisting preferred.
• Mandarin-speaking preferred.
• Relevant dental assisting qualification preferred.
• Prior experience as Dental Nurse/Assistant an advantage; willingness to learn welcomed.
• Able to work independently and in a team; good communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.
• Proficient in basic computer skills; Saturday availability (9am-1pm).

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during consultations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before/after procedures.
• Ensure sterilization, disinfection, and maintenance of instruments/equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment per infection control protocols.
• Assist in taking/processing dental radiographs where applicable and certified.
• Monitor and replenish dental supplies; assist with inventory management.
• Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients.
• Support patient care by ensuring comfort during visits.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and other admin duties as required.
• Perform other duties to support smooth clinic operation.

• Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Support patient care by ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and other administrative duties when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management to support the smooth operation of the clinic.

Requirements

• Mandarin-speaking preferred.
• Candidate should possess at least GCE 'N' Level or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
• Experience in oral surgery preparation and assisting is preferred but not compulsory.
• Relevant dental assisting qualification is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Dental Nurse/Assistant is an advantage; candidates without experience but with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
