Job summary

SOUTH BEACH INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced kitchen associate to prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.

You will regulate oven temperatures, thaw ingredients, and ensure proper portioning and garnishing while maintaining logs and cleanliness. You will communicate menu specials to staff and guests, assist during busy periods, and uphold safety policies and confidentiality of company assets.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes, quality standards, and checklists.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer and thaw in the refrigerator as needed for service.
• Inform guests and staff about menu items, specials and items out of stock.
• Maintain food logs and ensure presentation and garnish meet standards.
